Dormouse in armchair

The dormouse is one of the characters in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. I had a lot of fun creating this sculpture. The dormouse has whiskers and is sleeping in an armchair which has a copy of the book on the arm. It is hand built using stoneware clay and coloured with underglazes, oxides and stains.
