The Fox & the Crow

I was inspired to make this sculpture after reading one of Aesop's fables. The crow is holding a piece of cheese in her beak and the fox asks her to sing to become Queen of Birds. The crow forgets all her suspicions and sings providing the fox with his breakfast.

The sculpture is hand built using stoneware clay and coloured with underglazes, oxides and stains.
